Free trial first
Sift includes a 7-day free trial so you can test the app before buying. Please use the trial to confirm that Sift works for your files, Mac, and workflow before purchasing.
Refund window
For Sift Personal, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if Sift does not work as described, you purchased by mistake, or you cannot activate the app after reasonable troubleshooting.
When refunds may be declined
Refunds may be declined for requests after the 14-day window, repeated refund requests, fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, violation of the terms, or cases where the app was used successfully and the request is unrelated to product function.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the purchase email, approximate purchase date, and reason for the request. We may ask for basic troubleshooting details so we can verify and fix the issue.
Processing
Approved refunds are processed through Polar or the relevant payment provider. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund. If a refund is issued, the associated Sift license may be revoked.
