Agreement
These terms govern your use of Sift, the Sift website, downloads, updates, and license services provided by Makesquare Studio Limited. By using Sift, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
Trial and license
Sift includes a 7-day free trial. Continued use after the trial requires a valid license. Sift Personal is a one-time license for the local macOS app, includes one year of updates, lets you keep using your licensed version, and may be activated on up to 2 Macs.
Your files and backups
You are responsible for the files you process with Sift and for keeping backups of important files. Do not use Sift to process, modify, or distribute files unless you have the legal right to do so.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Sift, interfere with downloads, licensing, update services, or security controls, attempt to bypass activation limits, reverse engineer the app except where law permits, or use Sift in a way that violates applicable law.
Third-party services
Purchases, invoices, receipts, license management, hosting, and updates may rely on third-party services such as Polar and infrastructure providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices.
Warranty and liability
Sift is provided as-is to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Sift in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
